Distribution

PHE is a major player in the distribution of automobile and heavy goods vehicle spare parts.

The Distribution

PHE has developed its automobile and heavy goods vehicle spare parts distribution business model around 3 axes:

  1. The quality of the spare parts catalog based on its expertise and knowledge of sector issues
  2. Availability of products and their availability to customers
  3. The multi-channel approach to facilitate order taking.

In addition, PHE has a heavy goods vehicle repair activity through its own workshops.

The PURCHASING CENTRAL

In the distributor business, the purchasing center plays a major role.

The purchasing center's mission is to constitute the "catalogue" of products available for all types of brands and vehicles.

Its objective: to cover the needs of the broadest possible market and ensure the best availability of parts to its customers.

To do this, the purchasing center selects the best partners with whom it negotiates the Group's pricing conditions. PHE collaborates with major equipment manufacturers to develop a privileged and trusting relationship.

The purchasing center must also anticipate technological developments.

The diversity of models, brands and technologies embedded in vehicles are all challenges. This is why the purchasing center relies on a team of professionals specializing in mechanical parts, bodywork, consumables, tires, paint, tools and garage equipment.

She is always in contact with distributors and repairers to understand the daily needs of customers.

Aware of the purchasing power issues, the purchasing center develops private label offers with the different countries such as Isotech, Requal, Autec, AD, X Master, X Energy and Oscaro. These product ranges respond to the challenges of aging vehicle fleets in Europe, without sacrificing quality.

PHE is in the top 4 European buyers of automobile and heavy goods vehicle spare parts.

To improve its purchasing conditions, the Group is a member of AD International, an alliance of 22 national distribution groups in Europe, North Africa, and Central Asia, all leaders in their respective countries.

The LOGISTICS

PHE bases its operational excellence on its logistics organization.

Each country in which PHE operates relies on specialized and mechanized or automated central storage platforms.

They store several tens of thousands of references allowing maximum product availability.

The ordered products are then shipped to local distributors who have storage sites positioned as close as possible to customers. This organization guarantees excellent availability of parts.

The repairing customer can be delivered up to 6 times per day. Local distributors are also developing digital route optimization solutions to minimize environmental impact while maintaining quality of service.

A multi-channel ordering journey FOR REPAIR PROFESSIONALS

PHE deploys multi-channel order-taking solutions in each country.

In France, the Autossimo tool developed by Autodistribution is the largest digital ordering platform on the market. In just a few clicks, repairers have access to more than 2.7 million references and 52,000 vehicle models 24/7.

Searching from the license plate speeds up identification of the correct part and ordering.

Autossimo records over 3 million license plate-based searches per month, with more than 18,000 professionals logging in daily. Autossimo includes services for repairers as well as interfaces with major market DMS, body shop estimating tools, and diagnostic tools.
Autossimo users also have access to parts installation manuals, vehicle maintenance logs, wiring diagrams, and technical support.

In France, 300 telephone advisors take orders from repairers and provide them with technical support.

95% of product availability requests are satisfied within a minimum waiting time.

All PHE subsidiaries deploy sales forces on the ground close to customers. For example in France, Autodistribution relies on 300 traveling salespeople and 900 sedentary salespeople who work for 30,000 professional customers.

Products also accessible TO MOTORISTS

In France, PHE subsidiary Autodistribution offers ranges of products that motorists can purchase directly in store.

These sales represent 15% of Autodistribution’s turnover.

For its part, Oscaro offers an online purchasing solution for motorists.

With more than 950,000 references available on Oscaro.com, motorists can order the necessary parts to carry out repairs on their vehicle themselves (such as changing a windshield wiper or a spark plug, for example), Oscaro.com has developed 2,500 tutorials to enable safe repair.
